After graduating with a Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute, located in Berkeley, California. His dissertation and more recent publications are based on relationships and death anxiety. His APA internship was completed at King's County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. He spent multiple years working at a children's home and was primarily trained in hospitals with patient's suffering from severe psychopathology. He has worked with individuals, children, couples, and families though his most extensive work has been with adults.
Dr. Lee Vance is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist located in Northern New York, on the edge of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. He is an existential and psychodynamically trained clinician with an interest in working with persons of all ages and backgrounds. He also has training in mindfulness meditation and cognitive behavioral approaches as well as in advanced technological treatments for anxiety, depression, and trauma. He has received training in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), to assess children and adults that have suffered potential traumas. He provides psychotherapy and forensic testing at Rubenzahl, Knudsen & Associates.
